2026 Mexico Mission Trip

Where is God calling you to serve?  Have you considered a short term mission trip with family or friends? Perhaps you’d like to serve alongside new friends that share your same passion and love for God?  Whatever reason, this may be an opportunity just for you!

Join us for the 2026 Niños de Baja Mexico Mission Trip. Don Roycraft will be leading a team from Cross Church - Surprise, and all of the other Cross Church locations are invited.

Trip dates are July 17-24, 2026, and the total trip cost is $550. This cost is all inclusive to include ground transportation, travel insurance, food, sleeping accommodations and team shirt. Although not necessary, you may want to bring additional money for souvenirs for our outing to La Bufadora, Mexico.

A valid U.S. Passport (book or card) is required. If you do not have one or need to renew your current passport, it’s recommended to start the process now. Wait times for passports can vary on the time of year and it’s best to start the process, as soon as possible.

IMPORTANT: In addition to all required paperwork, a background check is completed by Cross Church for all adult participants who do not already one on file. New applicants will also be briefly interviewed by a team leader(s) prior to acceptance to discuss any personal, medical or nutritional concerns. Deposits are due on or before posted due dates, otherwise your registration may be in jeopardy and placed on the waitlist.

Team members from other Cross Church locations, such as Phoenix, El Mirage and Cornville are encouraged to attend the team meetings in Surprise, whenever possible. However, due to your distance, you may also attend the meetings virtually via Google Meets. A link will be provided prior to each meeting. Meeting attendance is not optional.

Meeting Dates and Important Information

March 22- a non-refundable deposit of $100 (per person) will be due to hold your place on the team. Meeting agenda to include review of needed paperwork, deposits and updates. Code of Conduct.

April 19- applications and ALL additional paperwork will be due. Please help your leaders, by having forms notarized (if applicable), and fully completed. Meeting agenda to include trip updates, devotions, projects and dietary restrictions and needs.

May 3 - 50% of the trip cost will be due ($275.00 per person). There will be NO refunds allowed after this date for any funds that have already been committed on your behalf, such as van rentals, initial $100 hold deposit and travel insurances. Meeting agenda to include finalization of our devotional topic and an open discussion on ideas for a children team project(s).

May 24 - 75% of the trip cost will be due. ($413.00 per person) Meeting agenda to include a devotional assignment date for those that would like to do one, and finalization of the children team projects.

June 7 - Trip must be paid in full. ($550 per person) Meeting agenda to include packing instructions, what to bring (leader suggestions and tips) and Niños de Baja community and children updates.

June 28 - Passport check. Review of packing, and review of both NdB and CC “Code of Conduct. Discuss “Pray Out Sunday” with details provided by team leadership.  Provide team shirts. Updates will be provided regarding Niños de Baja orphanage, such as work projects and children.

July 12 - Pray Out Sunday. We will have a short meeting after second service (12:00 pm) to go over any last minute trip updates.
