Digging for Answers
Today we gather around God's Word to pray through, praise through, and preach through a piece of scripture so that we can practice to find wisdom in Jesus.
Pray through Job 28
Colossians 2:3
In him are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge.
As we come to the Lord's Table, thank God that His wisdom is revealed in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus.
Praise through Job 28
Our God Reigns
His name alone is great / For the Lord our God He reigns forever
Why we sing it We find our answers in Christ alone, and we praise Him alone.
How Great Thou Art
Then I shall bow, in humble adoration And then proclaim: "My God, how great Thou art!"
Why we sing it
All glory, honor, and wisdom come from our God alone. Let Him increase so we decrease.
All Hail King Jesus
So let every knee, come bow before the King of Kings
Let every tongue, confess that He is Lord
Why we sing it Now we know in part; then we will know fully. We praise His name until that day.
Graves Into Gardens
I searched the world but it couldn't fill me
Man's empty praise and treasures that fade are never enough
Why we sing it Only God can satisfy our search for answers and our desire to know more.
Turn over for the message & this week’s next steps.
“He said to mankind, “The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom.
And to turn from evil is understanding.””
