When Your People Turn on You
Today we gather around God's Word to pray through, praise through, and preach through a piece of scripture so that we can practice trust and dependence in the Redeemer who faithfully stays with us.
Psalm 27:9-10
You have been my helper; do not leave me or abandon me, God of my salvation. Even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord cares for me.
"Lord, don't let me walk through ________ alone."
There Is A Fountain
Redeeming love has been my theme / And shall be till I die
Why we sing it We sing of the cleansing blood of Jesus, grace no accuser can take away.
The King Is Coming (Live)
No fear of what's to come / Our hope set in the One Who said that it is done, Amen
Why we sing it We sing knowing our Redeemer lives and will stand on the earth at the end.
Abide
For my waking breath for my daily bread / I depend on You I depend on You
Why we sing it When people turn on us, we stay rooted in the One who never leaves.
You've Already Won
I know how the story ends / We will be with You again
Why we sing it We leave trusting that Jesus has already won, whatever others say about us.
Turn over for the message & this week’s next steps.
“But I know that my Redeemer lives,<br>and at the end he will stand on the dust.”
Job 19:25 CSB
Big Question: When your people turn on you, will you let them turn you?
1. From His Word to Their Word (Job 15:11, 17)
2. From His Name to Their Name (Job 18:17, 21)
3. From His Heart to Their Heart (Job 20:4–5, 29)
Enduring Truth: When your people turn on you, turn to the One who stood on the dust for you. (Job 19:25; Matt 10:22)
