Nobody to Speak for Me
Today we gather around God's Word to pray through, praise through, and preach through a piece of scripture so that we can practice to rest our case in Jesus.
1 Corinthians 11:24
This is my body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me.
As we take communion together, thank Jesus for doing on our<br>behalf what we could never do on our own.
Thank God I'm Free
You took the cross and You broke Your body / You shed Your blood, now the sinner can sing
Why we sing it Our debt has been paid, so we celebrate a God who pleads our case for us.
Before The Throne Of God Above
For God the Just is satisfied / To look on Him and pardon me
Why we sing it God bore our sin and took our guilt, so we are free to praise our King.
Who You Are
The One who doesn't owe an answer / Is the One who won't let go
Why we sing it We don't deserve answers to our questions, but we praise a God who speaks on behalf of us when we don't have the words.
Thank God I'm Free
My debt is paid and my record is clean / I couldn't do it, so You did it for me
Why we sing it We leave knowing Jesus has already paid our debt and argued our case.
