God, Satan, and Life
Today we gather around God's Word to pray through, praise through, and preach through a piece of scripture so that we can practice to worship the God who stays.
Psalm 13:1-2, 5-6
But I have trusted in your faithful love; my heart will rejoice in your deliverance.
I will sing to the Lord because he has treated me generously.
Lord, despite my concerns of ________,
thank You for Your generosity...
Rejoice
For the one who holds the heavens / And commands the stars above Is the God who bends to bless us / With an unrelenting love
Why we sing it Our God deserves praise because of who He is and because
He is faithfully present through everything we go through.
What A Friend We Have In Jesus
Can we find a friend so faithful / who will all our sorrows share Jesus knows our every weakness / take it to the Lord in prayer
Why we sing it Despite our concerns, trials, and temptations, we have a friend who is closer than a brother.
Who You Are
The One who doesn't owe an answer / Is the One who won't let go
Why we sing it We don't deserve a God who is so faithful to us through
every aspect of our life and yet we praise a God who is always beside us.
Who You Are (Reprise)
Not for the answer / Not for the outcome We praise because you are who You are / You are who You are
Why we sing it We know our questions of WHY things happen
may never be answered but we praise the God WHO is always with us.
Turn over for the message & this week’s next steps.
“The LORD gives, and the LORD takes away.
Blessed be the name of the LORD.”
