Mexico Mission Trip

Where is God calling you to serve?  Have you considered a short term mission trip with family or friends? Perhaps you’d like to serve alongside new friends that share your same passion and love for God?  Whatever reason, this may be an opportunity just for you!

Join us for the 2025 Niños de Baja Mexico Mission Trip. Don Roycraft will be leading a team from Cross Church in partnership with Pikes Peak Christian Church in Colorado Springs, CO.

Trip dates are July 17-24, 2026, and the total trip cost is $550. This cost is all inclusive to include ground transportation, travel insurance, food, sleeping accommodations and team shirt. You may want to bring a small amount of money for souvenirs on our outing to La Bufadora, Mexico.

A valid U.S. Passport (book or card) is required. If you do not have one or need to renew your current passport, it’s recommended to start the process now. Wait times for passports can vary on the time of year and it’s best to start the process as soon as possible. 

In addition to all required paperwork, new applicants for this trip will be interviewed by a team leader(s) prior to acceptance.

If you are interested, you must attend the information meeting to be held at Cross Church Surprise on February 23rd at 11:45 AM. Anyone interested from another Cross Church Campus that cannot attend this meeting, please contact Don Roycraft at droycraft@yes2god.org. The approximate meeting time will be one hour.

Meeting Dates and Important Information

March 16 - a non-refundable deposit of $100 (per person) will be due to hold your place on the team.

April 6 - applications and ALL additional paperwork will be due. Please help your leaders, by having forms notarized (if applicable), and fully completed. Meeting agenda to include team fundraiser discussion and donation letters.

April 27 - 50% of the trip cost will be due ($250.00 per person). There will be NO refunds allowed after this date for any funds that have already been committed on your behalf, such as van rentals and travel insurances. Meeting agenda to include finalization of our devotional topic and an open discussion on team projects.

May 18 - 75% of the trip cost will be due ($350.00 per person) Meeting agenda to include devotional assignments and team t-shirt orders.

June 8 - Trip must be paid in full. ($550 per person) Meeting agenda to include packing instructions, what to bring (leader suggestions and tips) and Niños de Baja community and children updates.

June 8 - Passport check Meeting agenda will include a review of packing, and clothing policies, as stated in the Code of Conduct. Any updates to the itinerary and provide team shirts, if available. We will also discuss "Pray Out Sunday" with details provided by team leadership.

June 22 - Leaders will discuss Pray Out. Leaders will review packing and clothing policies, itinerary, and provide t-shirts. Updates will be provided regarding  Niños de Baja, such as work projects and children.

July 12 - Pray Out Sunday. We will be prayed over by the church congregation for our trip. We will have a short meeting after second service to go over any last minute trip updates.
